]]> This month marks 19 years since he passed away.  Still there aren’t many days that go by that I don’t think of him.  He is a hero to me in so many ways. He was so loyal and honest and hardworking. I strive to be like him. He went through a lot of tough times in his life…yet he never complained. He also had a great sense of humor and was an awesome story-teller.

 

He loved the old coupe. Many times he was offered good money for it but he declined every time. I am so thankful to be the keeper of it now. I cant wait to go for a spin….I know I will have a renegade (our nickname for each other) riding shotgun.

]]> The 51 still won’t start. We figured out the little gremlins…it was a tiny little insulator between the distributor and housing that someone had used black tape to repair. We had a spare distrbutor and I took the one off that. We went ahead and got new cap, rotor, points and condensor. The coil was ok. When we tried to fire it it wanted to go…..even tried to run….so we think timing is off. We will be back at it tomorrow. Wish us luck51
